This is copper lined lampwork bead hand made by me in my studio. It is a lovely mix of blues and would look stunning hanging from a silk ribbon or a silver chain. It measures approx. 10mm x 18mm. Silk ribbon not included. Beads are individually hand created by me. They have been properly kiln annealed for lasting durability and are each properly cleaned and inspected.Thank you for looking!

Happy New Year (a little late) :)

Hi all! Happy New Year! It is going to be a terrific year I just know it. I have lots of plans and goals that I will be working on this year and business expansion (hopefully) if I can get it all done.

Had a great Christmas with my family here and in Illinois. I don't get to go home often enough and sure wish that it wasn't so far away. I live in Utah and it is a two day drive to Illinois with my husband, our 80 lb springer spaniel Tuck (who insists on sitting on the passengers lap in the front seat the whole way), and our new kitty (who was a real trooper and rode in the backseat).

They are a lot of fun though, and kitty is getting friendlier every day and letting us pet him more and pick him up. His real name is Hissy if that tells you anything.

Had our alternator go out on our car about 50 miles from our destination in Illinois. What a pain in the butt. Mom had to come and bring us a battery so we could make it home.

We had a thunderstorm one night when we were there. We had lots of thunder and lightening and rain which melted all the ice. Strange weather. But I miss the thunderstorms. Tuck doesn't like them at all.

So now I am back to work and trying to get stuff done since we were gone. Our Christmas tree is still up. Hopefully this weekend we will put it away.

I haven't made any beads since before Christmas but I have a few that I haven't taken pictures of or listed yet. Maybe I will get to that in the morning. Check back to see.

My husband made some really cool wooden pandora beads that I need to list. I lined them in copper and they are really neat and original. I will try to get the picture of them up here as well.

New Beadsets and Pandora Beads Today!

I bought a few rods of silver rich glass a few months ago and never have really done much with it. I had some difficulty working it right. It costs about $25.00 for 1/4 pound, so it is sure not cheap. Some of it I think I paid $4 a rod. So anyway since it was not coming out too pretty I just put it away instead of wasting all that moola. Well, last week I found some better instructions and got the glass out to play again. I made a couple of really pretty pandora beads with raised dots all over them...WOW is what I thought. Went to do the copper lining and broke the little dots clean off. Did that not just once but twice. I was soooooo po'd. The second bead ended up getting thrown across the kitchen. Of course it survived the trip...stupid thing. Anyway... they are on my little shrine of misbegotten beads...couldn't bear to throw them away yet. So the next day I tried to make more and here are a few of them. I have a whole bag of goodies I need to get listed, just need to find the time. More is on the way.. promise! :) HI MOM!

Halloween in August

This is going to be Halloween in August week. I made three sets of these adorable ghosty beads and will be listing them this week, here. Usually I just make white ghosts but this year I decided to make clear ones and then to etch them. They look a little more ghosty like. I left the eyes unetched so they are bright and shiny. I am also going to be listing more stuffed pumpkin sets and wall hangings in my other Etsy shop, it is located here. I have lots of Swarovski crystals for sale there too with more to be added as time permits. It is going to be a busy week at work so I will get things listed as I can. Check back often. New Lampwork Bead Sets For Sale!

I got out my glass etching solution and gave it a try. I etched 3 copper cored beads and they are really soft and matte finished. Really turned out cool. I will have to see what the stuff does to copper.. might put a cool finish on it. Go to my etsy store to buy these beads and more. Thanks Pam
